National Commission for Energy Control and Prices recently approved the new version of AB Amber Grid natural gas transmission system balancing rules which will be applied from 1st of December 2018.
Definitions and provisions of the Project was harmonised with European Commission regulation (EU) No 312/2014 of 26 March 2014 establishing a Network Code on Gas Balancing of Transmission Networks (BAL NC).
Most important change is the amendment of the natural gas marginal buy/sell price calculation in line with the BAL NC. Also balancing rules foresee that tolerance interim measure will be applied no later than 1st of March 2019.
